Relation between Stichting ( Foundation) EURinSPECT and ( Foundation ) Stichting EPSO (www.epsonet.eu and

www.eurinspect.eu )

Eurinspect is the support organisation of EPSO  and as organisation it is a non profit foundation in the category of sme’s ( small or medium sized enterprises). The relation between EPSO and Eurinspect is a long term co-operation based on a MOU (memorandum of understanding). 

The Stichting Eurinspect (Foundation Eurinspect) is as such responsible for the implementation and design of all activities of Stichting EPSO. This implies in practice that all activities of “Stichting EPSO” are prepared and executed by the EPSO secretariat. The EPSO secretariat is part of Eurinspect and is managed by Foundation EURinSPECT.

Foundation Eurinspect is since its start  in 2008-  in business terms - a “small business” with a limited budget and a limited number of people working in the business. The full staff of the EPSO secretariat is not more than 2 fte (full time equivalent)   and the annual turnover and the  annual balance sheet total is not more than 1 million euro.

The Eurinspect foundation is not working with subcontractors. However the foundation works with the partners of EPSO on a cooperative base.  This means  that EPSO works with unpaid commitments of the EPSO member organisations ( Supervisory organisations in health and social care mainly in Europe). Apart from reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs Eurinspect/ EPSO is not paying for speakers and other co-operation with partners from the EPSO member organisations.
