The Medical chamber of Slovenia asseses the expert competence of doctors, issues licenses and supervises the expert actions, while the Health inspectorate has the competence of requring the information also from the health professionals that is necessary for the inspection purposes and assesses of compliance with the law. |

HIRS covers other scopes such as communicable diseases, wholesomeness and safety of food, drinking water, mineral waters, food contact articles and materials, restriction of alcohol consumption, cosmetic products, toys, tobacco, tobacco products, bathing waters, health and hygiene safety in the filed of health care, child care, schooling, education, hygiene care, social care and general product safety within the competencies, patient rights, mental health and general practitioner services . |
